Bryon MANAGING DIRECTOR, Arlington Office
This whole thing, push boundaries, teamwork etc. – the core company values are really what it’s like doing business here. Its not just things we pay lip service to, on some plaque someplace or in a poster in the lobby. We will sit and have a whole day discussion sometimes – about what it means to face reality. Our entrepreneurial spirit is also what helps to keep Clark on the cutting-edge. Time after time, the company has been ahead of the curve. In low income housing, nobody thought it could be done profitably, but Clark went out and started a profitable, low-income housing portfolio. Then, everyone else flooded into the market and it got to the point where it wasn’t really profitable. By that time, Clark had already shifted into mixed-use development. Then before you knew it, we had shifted into military family housing when no-one thought that could be done profitably. Clark, time after time, is ahead of the curve. This is a place where you can do almost anything you want. It’s just a matter of knowing what you want. |
